iCargo was founded in 2006 by former employees of Kuehne + Nagel. From the beginning, the company has emphasized a personal approach, flexibility, and reliability, always putting the customer’s success first. The first office was established in Čierna nad Tisou due to its important location for rail transport. Thanks to the skills of its employees, iCargo began to grow and opened branches in Košice and Bratislava. Initially, iCargo focused exclusively on rail transport. Today, we provide comprehensive logistics services by road, sea, and river as well. Nevertheless, 90% of our cargo is still transported by rail throughout Europe and Asia.
Behind the company’s success are people whose years of expertise and approach to customers have elevated iCargo to the position of a freight forwarding leader in the region. It is precisely their experience and work that have given iCargo its unique character.
Ing. Branko Bosiok
Branko Bosiok began his career in 1994 with Kuehne + Nagel, where he worked as the head of the rail transport division. After the company was transformed into Ferrovia Sped in 1999, he decided to use his experience and became a co-founder of iCargo. As COO, he was responsible for the daily operations of the company, team management, and the implementation of strategic plans.
In 2011, he took on the challenge of the position of Commercial Director at ZSSK Cargo, where he contributed to the development of the state carrier. He then worked at OT Logistic. In 2018, he returned to iCargo, where he still serves as COO and continues to contribute to the company’s further development.
Ing. Martin Zelizňák
Martin Zelizňák is an expert with many years of experience in the field of logistics. He began his career in 1996 at Kuehne + Nagel as a forwarding specialist for rail transport. Over the years, he expanded his know-how to include maritime, road, and intermodal transport. After the company’s transformation into Ferrovia Sped in 2007, he decided to take on a new challenge and opened the iCargo branch in Košice, where he serves as Commercial Director.
Thanks to his expertise and dedication, the iCargo brand has become well known among logistics professionals not only in Slovakia but also internationally.
